  1. Confirm the correct printer is selected.

  2. Click the plus symbol (+) in the RIP interface.

This opens the Layout window, where your print job will be created.

Step 2 – Verify Layout Settings

When the Layout window opens, confirm the correct settings are selected before loading artwork.

Check the following:

To add artwork to your layout:

  1. Use the plus (+) button in the Jobs section.

  2. Select the image files you want to print.

The artwork will appear in the Jobs panel, where it can be added to the artboard.

You can remove images at any time using the minus (–) button.

  • Image size

  • Scale

  • Number of copies

These controls determine how the artwork will appear in the layout.

Step 5 – Arrange Artwork on the Artboard

Once the images are loaded, use the Alignment and Nesting section to organize the artwork.

These tools allow you to:

  • Align images

  • Space images evenly

  • Automatically arrange images using nesting options

Proper nesting can improve material usage and keep layouts organized.

Examples of useful job names include:

  • Order number

  • Design description

Step 7 – Submit the Job

Once the layout is complete:

  1. Click the Submit button.
